Swing dance, known as The Lindy Hop, Jitterbug or Jive, is a partnered dance, danced to the swing, jazz and blues music of the late 1930s through to the 1950s.
We hold regular weekly dance classes in Lindy Hop and a regular monthly dance class in Balboa. We also run weekend dance workshops and dances in and around the Reading area in Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, Laminu and other forms of swing dance.
Our regular weekly swing dance classes and events are held at the Reading Canoe Club, The Warren, Caversham, RG4 7TH (map) a beautiful location overlooking the River Thames. Please click on Classes for more information.
