SPECIAL EVENTS IN MARCH

Here are a few dates for your calendars, in addition to our regular Monday Balboa Classes at the Jazz Cafe, Madejski Stadium and our regular Tuesday Swing Dance Classes at the Reading Canoe Club. Hope to see you at some of them.

Thursday 11 March
Nicky’s Cambell’s Swing Band at the Jazz Cafe, Madejski Stadium, Shooters Way, Reading RG2 OFL
This ‘Swing’ collaborative joins together some of the finest musicians in the country, playing hits from their highly acclaimed ‘Moonlight’s Back in Style’ album They are inspired by the music of Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Big Band music in general, so it should be a good night out.
Starts about 8.30 pm
Entrance £15/head (Limited number of dining tickets available which guarantee seating and a choice of 2 courses from their 3 course menu – priced at £35.00)

Saturday 20 March
Swing Dance at Henley Town Hall
8.30 pm until midnight
£5.00 (Either send a cash/cheque made payable to All Jazzed Up to me here at 21 St Andrew's Road, Caversham, Reading, RG4 7PH, or bank transfer £5.00 to the
All Jazzed Up Account at Lloyds TSB, Caversham Branch, Account No 4020547 (if need be, put a 0 on the front), Sort Code 309131. Please email me so I can look out for the payment and add your names to the list at the door.

"A Real Swing Night” with the Oxford Swing Dance Society, Headington Community Centre, Gladstone Road, Oxford, OX3 8LL

Sunday 28 March
Balboa Bonanza - BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE
Beginners Classes from 12 noon until 1.45 pm as usual at the Reading Canoe Club
Intermediate session starts at 2.00 pm (1/2 hour earlier than usual) until 4.00 pm
The prices will be £3.00 for just the beginners class & £5.00 for the intermediate. Those attending both £7.00

We will NOT be providing a tea dance as we have been invited to attend a Live Music and Tea Dance Event at the Muse Bar, 5-6 Friar Street Reading, RG1 1DB.
This event actually starts at 2.30 with a Charleston class, but we will join it for the social dancing and tea and cakes part. The event will go on into the early evening.
Entrance £7.00 (includes complementary pot of tea and cake)/(complementary glass of wine if you order a Sunday roast)
There is cheap parking - £3.00 all day - at the Garrard Street Car Park, RG1 1NR, an easy 3-4 minutes walk away
