All Jazzed Up will take a summer break from
Tuesday 27 July to Tuesday 7 September inclusive.
Classes resume on Tuesday 14 September.
Lindy Hop
We run a weekly Lindy Hop Class for Absolute Beginner, Beginner and Intermediate dancers every Tuesday evening at the Reading Canoe Club, The Warren, Caversham, RG4 7TH (map):
Times
7.30 pm
- Absolute Beginners
(For those who have no/hardly any
Lindy Hop experience - you will then
be able to join in with the beginners’
session which follows at 8.00pm)
8.00 pm - Beginners
9.00 pm - Intermediate / Improvers
There are practice sessions and refreshments between each class
Price
£6.00 - Adults for the whole evening
£3.00 - Students for the whole evening
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing with shoes that will remain securely on your feet (ie no sling-backs, mules of flip-flops). Trainers are ideal as are leather/suede soled shoes.
Balboa
We run a monthly Balboa Class on Sundays. This is usually at the Reading Canoe Club, but occasionally we have to use another venue, please check this out on our Latest News Page

12 noon - 1.45 pm Lessons for Beginners/Improvers
2.30 pm - 4.30 pm Lessons for Intermediates & Above
4.30 pm - 6.00 pm Tea Dance and Practice Session
Refreshments are provided. Those coming for the whole day are welcome to bring a packed lunch to picnic by the river.

£5 - for the morning only session
£7 - for the afternoon only
£10 - for the whole day
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing with shoes that will remain securely on your feet (ie no sling-backs, mules of flip-flops). Ladies will find it more comfortable dancing in shoes with a heel. Leather or suede soled shoes are best. As the dance involves shuffling and sliding the feet, trainers are not advisable.
Events
All Jazzed Up also runs week-end workshops in Lindy Hop and Balboa as well as other dances such as 1920’s Charleston; with new ones coming along all the time.
