Swing dance is the general term for a variety of partnered dances including Jive, Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston and Laminu, danced to the swing music of the late 1930s through to the 1950s.
We hold regular classes and weekend workshops and dances in all forms of swing dance in and around the Reading and Henley areas. Our regular weekly swing dance class is on a Tuesday at the Reading Canoe Club, The Warren, Caversham, RG4 7TH (map), a beautiful location overlooking the River Thames.There is plenty on the street outside the venue and it is within walking distance of Reading Station.
