Mickey began swing dancing in Los Angeles in 1991 and is a world-renowned Swing Dance teacher, particularly noted for his innovation and showmanship as well as his love of dance history and theory.

Anna-Maria has danced since childhood, starting with ballet and trying various styles before becoming captivated with swing dancing. She has taught Balboa, Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz, since 2012 and in 2014 started her own dance business "SwingDance Leipzig" with her husband and dance partner Ralf.
