We Like To Think Of Our Social Dances As Parties
We hold regular swing dances on the first Saturday of each month that are fun, friendly and open to everyone - even if you have never danced! We like to think they are more like parties with dancing. We have a snacks table and welcome donations to swell the contents. You don't have to sweat over a hot oven (unless you want to) - a bag of crisps or some biscuits will be just fine, but please don't feel obliged.
Our dances are held in the beautiful All Saints Church Hall, Downshire Square, Reading, RG1 6NN with plenty of parking on site, or in the roads around & about. Best of all - it has a wonderful SPRUNG DANCE FLOOR!
Doors open at 8.00 pm when we will start with a taster class. Our social follows on at 8.30 pm and we will party until 11.00 pm.
Entrance £5.00
Concessions £2.50
*Concessions = full time students and over 65s.

For safety, All Jazzed Up prohibits execution of air-steps, flips, other acrobatic manoeuvres during its classes and events, unless executed within the boundaries of a jam circle. Class and event attendees assume all responsibility and liability for any injuries they might suffer or cause during, and/or as a result of their participation in All Jazzed Up classes and events. Dance Etiquette
-
Treat one another with kindness and respect.
-
Anyone can ask anyone else to dance, however, if your request is denied, please respect this decision
-
We firmly believe that we can all learn from each other, but please be sensitive if offering any comments in class.
-
Partner dancing involves close contact, so good personal hygiene is a must.
Alcohol and Substance abuse
All Jazzed Up events occasionally involve the presence of alcohol. Please drink responsibly. Swing dancing whilst inebriated can be a safety risk and is not an excuse for harassing behaviour. Underage drinking or providing alcohol to those under 18 years will not be tolerated and may result in being banned from All Jazzed Up classes and events.
